Surrounded by stunning ruins, including the waterside Temple of Apollo and a well preserved Roman amphitheatre, which still hosts colourful performances, Side is one of the best known classical sites in Turkey. Hatha Yoga Diploma
Core Strength & Advanced Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training.
Reiki 1 & 2 Degree
S.N.H.S Dip Hopi Ear Candle
Come and join me and lets experience life together. My Hatha flow classes focus on flowing creative sequences to grow and deepen your own yoga. Learn to synchronise your breath (pranayama) with flowing postures (asanas) and flow with ease to experience freedom in your body and mind. Learn to flow and ignite our ‘core centre’ to gain self-awareness & confidence, build strength, flexibility, focus & alignment for a total body, mind connection.
We will start our AM practice with our breath, then move through a gentle warm up sequence to warm up the whole body. Moving with our breath we will ignite our ‘core centre’ and flow through Sun Salutations, standing & seated sequences while resting the focus calmly on the breath. We move with ease, whether the movement is challenging or simple creating freedom and space in our body. You will get to know your body better, and work with it more easily. When we allow our body to flow without pushing or struggle our body and mind become balanced has a great healing effect on the body and mind. We finish each class with a totally relaxing guided meditation.
Our PM classes have a more RELAXed feel working on specific postures to go deeper and Yin Yoga to remove tension in the body and mind that settles our attention softly on the breath. Each deep inhale creating space in the body and mind. Each exhale releases and letting go. We end our evening practice with either guided meditation or Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) for deep relaxation, rejuvenation & reconnection of your mind-body and spirit. After just one week you will have all the tools and a great foundation to start your own home practice with confidence and ease when you return home.
My search began 12 years ago when I fell pregnant with my first child. I joined a pregnancy yoga class and I have been hooked ever since.
After 18 years of being a hairdresser and so many years of back and shoulder pain. I sold my Hairdressing and beauty business in the UK to fulfill my dream of opening a Yoga & Holistic Holiday centre in Turkey. I can now share my passion and knowledge with the students that holiday at our yoga centre and home here in beautiful Side.
Having worked and been inspired by many teachers & yoga disciplines to include Sadie Nardini, Tyler MCcoy, Kate Potter, Paul Grilley and my continued studies. I am enjoying my yogic journey, and really look forward to sharing it with you here in Turkey.
Join me for Yoga & Fun in the Sun
Jo your are such a genuine down to earth, warm, real yoga teacher thats just one of the many reasons that I will be back for you’re teaching. Colette – Manchester
“I appreciate the way Jo approaches her practice according to the individual. We were all at different levels and of course, brought individual characteristics and approaches, which Jo observed and nourished. This comes from Jo’s intuition and observations, which isn’t something you can be taught. It had the effect of experiencing a bespoke tuition albeit within a close knit group who learned from and encouraged each other. Each practice was unique and captured accurately the vibe of the group on that day”. Gill, London
“It was a great pleasure to practise/study with you Jo. As I already said, a student is just as good as her teacher”! Silvia – Italy
I whole heartedly recommend Jo as a Yoga teacher weather you meet her for one hour, one week or hopefully a lifetime of lessons. Hayley – London/Turkey
“Jo’s compassion and sense of humour create a relaxed and enjoyable environment in which to learn. After arriving for my first yoga holiday and not really having a clue what a sun salutation was Jo really helped me grow in my practice and gave me a great understanding of the anatomy of my body – both physically and mentally. Each of Jo’s classes challenge you to your own level and at the end of each one I felt like I had explored physical and mental territory. Jo’s enthusiasm and warmth motivate me giving me the tools to integrate yoga into my often-hectic schedule when I return home from this wonderful Oasis.” Andrea – Exeter
Vinyasa Flow & Ashtanga
About Tina: Yoga is present in every part of my life. It determines how I see the world, how I treat others and how I behave. My daily physical Yoga practice on the mat is my steady rock in this chaotic world and it is my dream to share this experience with others.
I teach flowing Vinyasa Yoga class, suitable for all, focussing on the physiological problems of a typical Westerner (for example tight hamstrings, back pain, a stiff neck, overweight, sleep-problems and stress.). I am happy to discuss yogic philosophy in my classes, but if you are not interested in this branch of Yoga, don’t worry – I will not force it on you. I like to keep my classes unpredictable and it is my goal to share a laugh in every single class.
I gained my 300+ hours Vibrant Living Yoga teacher certificate in Bali and have had the honour to practice there with many inspiring teachers such as Daniel Aaron (Vibrant Living Yoga), Rusty Wells (Bhakti Flow), Ron Reid and Marla Meenakshi Joy (both Ashtanga Yoga), Olap Arpipi (Iyengar Yoga), Edward Clark (Tripsichore Yoga) and Steven Weiss (Chiro Yoga).
I have lived in Germany, France and England, and am trying to see as much of the world as possible. It is my firm belief that travelling teaches us many important lessons and reduces prejudices.
My degrees in Literature helps in my study of yogic texts, which is a solid part of my yoga practice.
I love music, and despite my avid love for rock music, I am an admirer of softer sounds, yogic music and Kirtan. Music can be integrated nicely into the Yoga practice.
Peace and Love, Tina.
Vinyasa Flow & Zen Shiatsu Therapist
Join Blanche in the first week of July as we focus on the Yang energy of Summer, using the warmth of the sun to help us connect to our inner fire! The Fire Element in Traditional Chinese Medicine represents joy, the heart and the emotions, which we can begin to connect with once we have developed a stable foundation and core strength, opening ourselves to our fullest potential through yoga.
Blanche’s style of yoga teaching from the heart blends integrity, skill and understanding. The morning Vinyasa practice will combine a deep slow yoga flow with some dynamic and challenging sequences, and the afternoon sessions will include Yin restorative yoga to balance the practice, weaving in poetry and yoga philosophy to integrate the realisations we have during asana into our lives off the mat. Blanche aims to empower her students to develop or deepen their own self-practice during this heart-warming week of yoga and sunshine.
The yoga we practice will have a strong focus on awakening our senses in the natural environment, and exploring our wild natures, inner and outer! Blanche works with a somatic approach to encourage an in-depth and organic exploration into our embodied experience with an emphasis on deepening self enquiry. We will synchronise breath and movement (vinyasa) in a yoga practice that guides us from external alignment to the awareness of internal space and greater freedom.
Blanche has always had a passion for yoga and bodywork, since her first yoga class 10 years ago. Her solid and nourishing self practice keeps her teaching style fresh and rooted in her experience. She started with Iyengar yoga then went on to study Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin Yoga. She travelled to India to deepen her practice and started meditating (Vipassana, Buddhist Insight Meditation).
Blanche has recently completed a Yoga Teacher Training with Still Flowing Yoga in Ibiza, and trained in Zen Shiatsu undertaking a 3 year course at the Shiatsu School Edinburgh after becoming interested in Oriental medicine.
Blanche has a keen interest in the therapeutic benefits of yoga, and will be available for Shiatsu and 1.2.1 yoga therapy sessions during the retreat to complement your practice. Shiatsu is rooted in Oriental Medicine and draws from a deep knowledge of the pathways of the energy body (meridians), releasing any stagnant or blocked energy in these channels to bring about a state of balance, deep calm and healing.
“Blanche is a very compassionate teacher and I can’t wait to welcome her back for the 2nd year this summer 2014.”

Hello! My name is Jonathan Cain, I am a friendly yoga teacher based in Bolton and Manchester in the UK. I teach compassionate and playful Hatha flow yoga classes for beginners and intermediate students.
Having practiced various styles of yoga over the past five years. My teaching combines flowing Hatha yoga with the freer teachings of Scaravelli grounded in Buddhist mindfulness.
